Strict Mode in RigFlow
Strict Mode is a safety control in RigFlow that makes sure all required checklists and parallel activities are completed before a Plan can begin. This helps maintain accuracy and safety by blocking the plan from starting until everything is ready. If something is missing, RigFlow will prompt users to complete it before proceeding with the plan.
How it looks
When Strict Mode is enabled, the system checks whether all required checklists and parallel activities have been completed. If any are missing, RigFlow blocks the user from starting the plan and displays a prompt to complete the outstanding items.
Enable or disable Strict Mode
A feature toggle in the System Configuration Tool controls Strict Mode. It can be turned on or off for each rig, depending on operational requirements. Contact your RigFlow administrator or support team to request a change to this setting.
Examples
A Driller tries to start a plan but is blocked by a prompt to complete the report backs and a checklistxper. This is Strict Mode in action, ensuring nothing is missed before operations begin.
