RigFlow version 1.27
June 2025
This release introduces a series of usability enhancements and bug fixes to improve overall performance and support integration workflows. Below is a summary of updates included in version 1.27.
Minor improvements
IDS export of Daily Drilling Report: Implemented backend support for IDS Daily Drilling Report export by seeding required code data from a standardized Excel template. Adjustments included:
Renaming a few columns for consistency (confirmed with stakeholders).
Seeding Class Codes, Primary Time Codes, and Sub-Time Codes 1 and 2.
Ensured no filtering is applied between Class and Time Codes, in line with IDS requirements.
Make bit depth toggle user and workgroup specific: The Bit Depth toggle in RigFlow is now configurable per user and workgroup. This ensures users can personalize how bit depth is recorded—either automatically or manually—without affecting other team members. The preference is remembered and applied based on the user's settings for a specific workgroup.
New Identity Group management in the System Configuration Tool: A new section under the General tab was added for managing Identity Groups directly within the System Configuration Tool. This enhances administrators' control over user access and roles in RigFlow.
Bug fixes
OpenWells export missing column names: The export function now correctly includes column headers in .txt files for OpenWells reports, ensuring data structure clarity for downstream systems.
Step numbering alignment between RigBridge and RigFlow: An issue was resolved where step numbering displayed differently in RigBridge versus RigFlow. Step references are now consistently aligned across both platforms.
NDOR export depth field fix: Addressed a bug where the Measured Depth field was intermittently missing during NDOR exports. This field now populates correctly.
Updated data export logic for IDS integration: The data export functionality for IDS has been updated to restore the use of dots (.) instead of commas (,) in specific numeric formatting, per customer request.
Add attachments to insights: You can now add attachments to insights in RigFlow. These attachments are also viewable in RigBridge, provided you’re using version 3.7 or later. Please note that this functionality may not be available in your environment unless it has been explicitly enabled. Read more about on Insights
