User permissions
User permissions and their management are crucial for ensuring the security and efficiency of a software system. User permissions determine what actions a user can perform within a system, such as accessing data, executing functions, or modifying settings.
How are user permissions managed?
Every user will request access to RigFlow with the required information, including their role.
Depending on the role, the user will be granted access to RigFlow and given a set of actions (user permissions) to perform within RigFlow (e.g., write comments, sign plans, write review comments, perform checks, add insights, upload attachments, etc.).
Your company sets the user roles. To change your permissions, please contact a user with the appropriate role. For more details, refer to Request access.
