Application Menu Overview
The application menu in RigFlow provides access to various essential applications, allowing users to efficiently manage well construction operations. This menu is available at the upper right corner of the screen and includes several core applications, each serving a unique function within the RigFlow ecosystem.
How to find the application menu
Find the
App menu icon at the upper right corner of the RigFlow screen.Click the icon to open the drop-down menu.
Click on the desired application to open it, or click the Application Overview to open a window with all the applications.
Applications and Their Functions
Description: Displays all approved, active, and started plans.
Functionality: Allows the Driller and specific users to interact with digital instructions, providing additional content and information for reporting purposes.
Description: Replaces the conventional Driller’s report and provides a comprehensive overview of current and historical operations.
Functionality: Displays operations in a report/time breakdown format, maintaining a detailed record of drilling activities.
Description: Provides a quick overview of current and upcoming operations.
Functionality: Displays the status of operations, including active, started, approved, and draft plans, offering a snapshot of ongoing and future activities.
Description: Facilitates the export of RigFlow-generated report content.
Functionality: Enables users to export data to IFS, Excel, or other reporting systems, including details such as step titles, action titles, operational comments, and more.
Description: Logs all relevant updates and changes within the RigFlow system.
Functionality: Tracks notifications of new plans, plan changes, actions added by the Driller, and the completion or abandonment of plans.
Description: Provides a quick overview of current and upcoming operations.
Functionality: Displays the status of operations including active, started, approved, and draft plans, offering a snapshot of ongoing and future activities.
Description: WellNav is a real-time tool for Geology and Rig Teams, displaying crucial geological risks and data within RigFlow.
Functionality: Syncs real-time geological data, offers notifications, filtering, role-based access, mobile access, and PDF export.
Tips and Tricks
Regular Updates: Frequently check the Plan Overview application for the latest updates and instructions to stay informed about the current status of operations.
Utilize the Operation Log: Use the Operation Log application to review past operations for insights and lessons learned, which can improve current and future projects.
