Generate a PDF from a plan
Generating a PDF of a RigFlow plan is a crucial feature for documentation and reporting purposes. A PDF can be generated regardless of the current stage of the plan. This guide provides a step-by-step process to create these PDF documents.
Description of How It Looks
The RigFlow system provides an interface where users can view, manage, and generate reports from their operational plans. The interface includes various tabs and icons that facilitate easy navigation and operation. The PDF generation feature is accessible through a specific icon (down arrow with a line under) within the Execution application.
Step-by-Step Guide
Click any plan you would like to generate a PDF from (can be in any stage e.g. Drafts, Execution, Contingencies or Archive).
Click the
Generate PDF icon (down arrow with a line under). This will open a "Download to PDF" menu. Here, you have options to include operational report, attachments and an option to change the PDF text size
When you have selected your preferred options, click the generate button. Wait a few seconds, and a PDF view will pop up.
In the PDF view, there are some icons at the top, including options to print (printer icon) and download (folder with a down arrow), among other things.
Click the download icon to download it to your computer.
Tips and Tricks
In the "Download to PDF" menu, when selecting "Include Attachments", a list of all attachment names in the plan will be displayed. From there, you can select specific attachments to exclude or include.
